It’s the start of a new year, and with that comes new fashion trends. Pinterest released its 2018 forecast of what we’ll be wearing, eating, and doing this year. Let’s take a look into the top 10 predicted fashion trends of 2018, according to Pinterest, and see what exactly we’ll be wearing this year.

1. Berets

This is a trend I never really thought would come back, but the more I see it the more I fall in love with it. Saves for “berets” on Pinterest are up 269%, so I think it’s safe to say they’re going to be quite the hit in 2018. If Rihanna wears one, so should you.

2. Logo-mania

This trend has taken off, especially with brands like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. The bolder, the better in street-style. 

3. Embellished Shoes

Studs, pearls, and buckles are the perfect way to glam up your outfit.

4. Sheer Socks

Fishnets took 2017 by storm, but this year will be all about the sheer socks, which can be paired with heels or sneakers.

5. Massive Earrings

Hoops are back, and the bigger the better. This year, statement earrings are on trend, so put the studs away!

6. Slits

Slit skirts, pants, and tunics are in – the perfect way to show some skin!

7. Patent Leather & PVC

Everything from boots to coats are going to be made in the shiny material this year.

8. Long Layers

Layers are always a good idea, but below-the-knee sweaters, jackets, and dusters are going to be popular this year.

9. Wide Leg Pants

Wide-legged bottoms are going to be huge (literally).

10. Classic Blue Jeans

A trend that never gets old – classic blue jeans.
