Halloween Special: Celeb Costumes
Celebs take Halloween to another level, from premium wigs to special FX makeup done by professionals to high-performance photoshoots, it's always a (trick or) treat to see what they’ve come up with. In honour of the closing of spooky season, QFIN Exec is rounding up some of our favourite celebrity Halloween costumes.
Doja Cat as Kida from The Lost City of Atlantis
Makaila (she/her), Membership Coordinator: “Two words: Doja ate. I love that she paid attention to details, even down to the jewelry and bangs! Definitely going as Kida next Halloween!”

Harry Styles as Elton John
Rebecca (she/her), Online Director: “Harry Styles dressed as Elton John circa his 1975 Dodger's Stadium performance where he wore the bedazzled baseball uniform and flashy rococo sunglasses. What made this costume so memorable for me (other than the fact that I love Harry Styles & Elton John) is how much charisma and character Harry brought to the posing and execution of the costume. My favourite Halloween costumes are the ones that are the most accurate, and Harry as Elton is definitely up there on that list! This year, I'm dressing up as the Spice Girls with my house and Freddie Mercury from Live Aid!!!”

Hailey Bieber as Mia Thermopolis from The Princess Diaries
Rhea Matharu (she/her), Online Writer: “This costume is so iconic. I love the movie so much and her being Mia just combines two of my favourite things. This year, I'm dressing up as Patrick Bateman from American Psycho and the White Swan (with my friend as Black Swan).

Zoe Kravitz as a vampire at breakfast
Maddy Spriet (she/her), Co-Chair: “I love how this is a fun and unique take on the classic vampire costume. It is also styled to perfection! From the rich looking robe, the loafers with socks, boxer briefs, glitzy sunglasses down to the accessories of the mug and newspaper. I also think you can never go wrong with a bloody look!”

Kendall and Kylie Jenner as their younger selves
Lauren Benchetrit (she/her), Co-Chair: “I thought this was a super wholesome costume and I loved that it brought out a sense of humour from the Jenner girls that I didn’t necessarily know they had. As someone who doesn’t particularly fangirl over the Kardashians, I found this ‘homage’ to themselves to be very sweet, and show that even in their adulthood those two sisters remain close friends.”

Kaia Gerber as Jane Birkin
Isabella Hamilton (she/her), Co-Online Assistant: “In collaboration with one of my favourite celebrity makeup artists, Sam Visser, Kaia pulled off a costume that screams elegant beauty. In an ode to Jane Birkin, Kaia's look was the perfect mix between soft and sexy, emphasized with drawn-on lashes and rosy cheeks. If you're looking for a last minute costume and are talented in the makeup department, this costume is a no-brainer!”
